Friday 29th  November 2024

The Christmas Season started on Friday 29th November at 6pm with the Christmas Tree Lighting at All Saints Church Hall

This event was brought to you by Childwall All Together
(Hope Univerity, All Saints Church, SCRA, and FCWF )
Here are some photos from the event.

Childwall Community Choir

The Choir sang inside and outside

Crowds gathered outside for the tree to be lit.

The Bells rang as the tree was lit, and the crowd sang.

Again, a wonderful community celebration with delicious food supplied by Hope University chefs. (Lucky students), a Christmas craft table by Childwall Abbey School and information tables for the Project Linus Crochet Group, Friends of Childwall Woods and Fields and South Childwall Residents Association.
A lively happy time for the whole community.
I hope you joined your neighbours at this event. If you didn’t manage in 2024, I hope we will see you in 2025.

This was our Christmas Tree Switch on Celebration 2023.

A few more carols until the lights go on.

Santa was there with the bravest of the children.

Santa and his little helpers from the scouts managed to collect £392 for the Whitechapel Centre. A charity to help homeless people in Liverpool.

The Christmas Tree is lit

The Christmas tree echoes the steeple of All Saints Church.
